What a big finish to the opening half of the Navigate 9s season!
There were changes all over the leaderboard this week with teams dropping in and out of the half-way mark prizemoney, as well as swapping places between division 1 & 2.
Diamonds In The Rough got to the Christmas break on top of the ladder. Well done ladies!
The one & only junior team in the competition, Par Patrol, moved to second spot & earned themselves some pocket money, while WDF Birdies continued their sizzling form to storm into third spot. Congrats to our top 3 teams from the opening half of the year.
WDF Birdies produced the week`s best score for the second consecutive week and it was a timely one as it catapulted them into third spot.
The Birdies were in 12th spot 2 weeks ago but back-to-back chart-topping scores moved them to third and in the cash.
They had 3 sub-30 nett scores this week with Maryanne Voss, Jodie Tancredi & Glenys Newton leading the way.
Matching the Birdies score was Bush & Campbell Financial Planning, who only missed out on some prizemoney by 0.1!
The Ferguson boys, Ryan & Troy, led from the front for Bush & Campbell.
The action wasn`t just at the top with 3 teams - WDF Accounting + Advisory, Riverina New Homes & Tackleworld Wagga Mud Marlins - moving their way into the top 19 and earning a division 1 spot on the back of a strong week.
The competition now goes on break until Wednesday January 21!
Week 7 is behind us and only 1 week to go until the halfway mark of the Navigate 9s season & Christmas break.
WDF Birdies led the way with the week`s best score, pushing them into the top 5. Suzanne Cain and Linda Byrnes led the charge for the Birdies with a couple of impressive scores.
Not far behind were The Floppers, led by Kyle Ingram and Jeremy Knight, who moved themselves into a division 1 spot with just a week to go before the competition split.
Diamonds In The Rough, the queens of consistency, maintained their spot on top of the ladder with another strong score. They look destined to pick up some of the pre-Christmas prizemoney with just one week to go.
This week is off the back 9. Good luck all!
Week 6 of our Navigate 9s Social Twilight Competition is now behind us & only a couple to go before the halfway mark of the season.
Competition newcomers RSP Raptors took this week by storm, going lowest in a week of hot scores.
The Raptors only registered 5 scores but they were 5 good ones, headed by Shane Matthews, and it was enough to land the best score of the week.
There was only two shots separating the top 5 teams of the week as teams jostle for positions before the split at the halfway mark.
Well done to Par Patrol`s Jett Bradley for the best score of the week. It was a good couple of days for Jett, who also won the nine-hole event at the WWCC Foundation Junior Classic at the weekend.
Dimity Curran and Sam Somerville were others to post impressive rounds.
Well done all!
