Congratulations to Lachie Wakefield, our new Dr Tyrie Trophy Matchplay champion for 2025!

Lachie prevailed over Harrison Uphill in a titanic battle, eventually grabbing the win on the 20th hole!

Congratulations to both players on a fantastic match that included some amazing golf, highlighted by two brilliant birdies on 17 to halve the hole.

Congratulations also to Scott McLachlan for winning the Consolation Final over Brendan Shumack.

THE STAGE IS SET!

Good luck to Lachlan Wakefield and Harrison Uphill, who will battle it out in the Dr Tyrie Trophy Matchplay Final on Sunday.

The two will tee off the 1st at 12.36pm on Sunday, with Scott McLachlan and Brendan Shumack to face off in the consolation final.

It shapes as a big Sunday with the club also hosting a Qualifying Round for the Keno Scramble.

The Dy Tyrie presentation will be held at the conclusion of play, along with a good old-fashioned sausage sizzle!

A favourite of WWCC - @stieger1991 - is set to return for this year`s $50,000 PSC Insurance Wagga Wagga Pro Am.

Matt has entered this year`s event, to be held on September 11-12, and is in great touch, highlighted by a win in the Gunnedah Pro Am last week.

We look forward to having Matt back at the club.
